Backspin is a video editor that works entirely on your iPhone.

What Backspin collects

Nothing. Backspin has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code. It does not collect, store or share any personal data.

Your videos

You choose a video with the system photo picker. Backspin can only see the video you pick, not the rest of your library.
The video is copied into the app's temporary storage on your device while you edit it. That copy is deleted when you close the editor, and any left behind is deleted the next time the app starts.
Edited videos are saved to your photo library as new items. Backspin asks for permission to add to your library the first time you save; it never asks to read it.
Your videos are never uploaded or sent anywhere by Backspin. If you use Share, the video goes only to the app or person you choose.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
